At Kenwood United Methodist Church, we believe prayer builds Christian community and opens us to become channels of God's love. Therefore, we try to lift up the prayer needs of the world and of our community on a regular and specific basis.

At each worship service, all individuals are invited to offer brief prayers of joy and concern. Those prayers are collected, and members of our community who have asked to become part of the intentional prayer ministry are notified of the prayer needs.

In addition, at any time during the week, anyone who has a prayer request may contact the church and ask that the need be shared with the prayer ministry.  (Of course, the pastor also receives prayer requests that remain confidential.)
