United Methodist Women
is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
Kenwood's unit meets once a month on the first Monday as Jeanne Adams Circle to study one of the books from the School of Missions. Some members particicapte in a reading program and in the annual statewide School of Missions. Any woman is welcome to participate in any or all of our activities. We hold at least one large rummage sale a year to support our pledge to the mission of the church locally, nationally and internationally and to provide scholarships for campers.
